Support Extended By The School
During Covid-19:
The Covid-19 pandemic was a difficult time for all. However our team of teachers and administrators joined hands and worked hard to keep the learning environment alive even outside the classrooms.
Since most of our students did not have the latest smartphones or the best internet connections, holding classes on digital platforms like Zoom or Google Meet was a roadblock. but we did not let technological impediments lower our morals. All classes were conducted through WhatsApp groups. Scheduled classes were held from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day. Each class had a respective group, and the lines were opened at 9:45 a.m. every morning.
After each student gave their attendance, subject teachers shared well-structured learning materials like PowerPoint presentations, videos and worksheets. The links were again active between 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. every evening when the students submitted their classwork and homework. Every teacher corrected the assignments and shared constructive feedback. On Saturdays, English and Maths classes were conducted over Zoom to clarify doubts.
All summative examinations were conducted and results were shared through Whatsapp groups. Art and craft classes were also conducted online. Our team made special efforts to arrange smartphones for some students so they are not cut off from the school.
