Excursion Class 3- Class 5 -2026
Class L.N- 5, accompanied by 15 teachers, went for a refreshing and adventurous trip to Zoological Garden Alipur on 19th January 2026. The students enthusiastically took part in a wide range of adventurous and outdoor activities, including nature walks, bird and animal watching, and various team-building games. Overall, the visit to the Alipur Zoo was a wonderful experience that combined learning, adventure, and personal growth, leaving everyone rejuvenated and enriched. All safety measures were strictly adhered to, and the students returned home with unforgettable memories and a renewed appreciation for animal adventure.
Excursion Class L.N- Class 2 -2026
Class 3- 5, accompanied by 15 teachers, went to Birla Industrial and Technological Museum for insightful Birla Industrial Knowledge. The Birla Museum established in 1959, presented the children to a more scientific side of the world .The museum has an Underground Mock-up Coal Mine, Popular Science, and also a demonstration of how Technology in India evolved since independence. The S.S.J.B.V Students were intrigued by the Mock up Coal Mine and were amazed by the 3D live show. Lastly there was an Open Air Science Show along with Stunts where few of our school children participated with much enthusiasm. All safety measures were strictly adhered to, and the students returned home with unforgettable memories and a renewed appreciation for Science and Technology.
Educational Tour by Bharat Scouts & Guides
Bharat Scouts & Guides, West Calcutta successfully organized a 5 Days & 4 Nights Educational Tour to Rajgir, Bihar with 60 Scouts & Guides. The tour offered rich learning through visits to Nalanda University, Bodhgaya, the Thai Temple, Rajgir Nature Safari, and Dashrath Manjhi Pahad, highlighting history, spirituality, environmental awareness, and determination. An All-Faith Prayer and shared meals reinforced unity, peace, and sisterhood. From Seth Soorjamull Jalan Balika Vidyalaya, 10 Guides—Sumaira Ali, Kaushiki Singh, Amrita Singh, Kashish Chawla, Prerna Shukla, Sujata Das, Sandhya Singh, Simran Hela, Zainab Samir, and Umme Habiba—actively participated, making the camp a memorable experience of learning beyond classrooms and character-building in the true spirit of Scouting and Guiding.
Monsoon Excursion at M.P. Birla Planaterium
A wonderful Monsoon Excursion on 31st August 2025 with 100 enthusiastic Scouts & Guides from Modern Academy Scouts & Guides Group, Pariwar Milan Sankalp Vidyalaya Scouts & Guides Group, and Seth Soorjamull Jalan Balika Vidyalaya Guide Group!
Our young explorers visited the M.P. Birla Planetarium, where we reached for the stars, and the Victoria Memorial, where history came alive with the former Empress of India during British rule.& Nehru Children’s Museum- thousands of dolls from more than 80 countries, showing their culture, dress, and lifestyle, gaining knowledge and joy .
We were honored to have the presence of our District Chief Commissioner, Dr. Avinash Kr. Gupta sir, His support added great inspiration to our young learners.
This outing reflected the true spirit of Scouting — unity, exploration, and growth.

That’s why we organize fun-filled picnics for our students at Seth Soorajmull Jalan Balika Vidyalaya. Under the supervision of the teachers, each class is taken for the exciting school picnics, where they enjoy the outdoors, playing and giggling with their friends.
