School is often regarded as a child’s ‘second home’ where teachers nurture young minds and personalities. Under their mentorship, children spread their wings and prepare for the future. At Seth Soorajmull Jalan Balika Vidyalaya, we boast a strong and well-versed team of faculty members who value education and discipline above everything.
We have different sets of teachers for the primary and secondary sections. Our teachers from the pre-primary and primary sections encourage young minds to explore their talents and strengths through active communication and cognitive skill development. On the other hand, our faculty members for the secondary and high-secondary sections give deeper insight to the students about different subjects to strengthen their base and understanding. While the faculty members prepare the students for the board exams, they do not encourage rote learning. The main focus is on equipping the students with clear knowledge about the subject that leaves an indelible impression in their minds.
All our faculty members in the primary and secondary sections are equipped with advanced degrees in their field, enabling them to provide the students with accurate and high-level knowledge. Besides being subject experts, our teachers closely follow the advanced pedagogy we have designed for our students to ensure their holistic development.

When students graduate from school, their entry into the world should be so smooth that nary a ripple should mar the transition from adolescence to adulthood; it should be so impactful that it touches the lives of multitudes, and it should be so unique that it remains etched in the minds of those who revelled in it.
This is the dream that we at Seth Soorajmull Jalan Balika Vidyalaya have for our students. We want to prepare them to face challenges with aplomb and accept success with humility. We want them to experience the real joy of living, not just obtain a vicarious knowledge of it through books. We want them to be known as honourable players and not just winners, as wise and not just intelligent, as understanding and not just knowledgeable, as kind and compassionate and not just friendly.
We applaud those high achievers who bring fame to the school with their achievements in scholastic and non-scholastic areas. But it is those students who embody the values of selflessness, tolerance, honesty and integrity who are remembered much after they have left school and who leave an indelible imprint in the annals of the history of the school for they have chosen a far more arduous path to follow; one of self-discipline, which is replete with principles an ordinary person may find difficult to follow.

I feel immensely proud to have been associated with this exemplary institution since 1994. It has been an enriching journey of two decades. As a senior teacher, I look back with gratitude and take pride in the institute that has grown into a seat of holistic education over the years, and look ahead with enthusiasm, trust, and confidence. Indeed much has been achieved, yet so much remains to be done. The education we impart to our pupils prepares them to achieve great success, and the discipline we inculcate in them shapes their lives. Our holistic approach aims at the betterment of each student and society as a whole. We must carry on the baton passed on to us by our predecessors, who had worked with utmost sincerity, diligence and commitment

The administrative department and the teachers at Seth Soorajmull Jalan Balika Vidyalaya are more than just that; they are mentors, friends, motivators and allies, all rolled in one. Behind every student we take pride in, is an experienced and highly qualified teacher who has helped them shine. The team takes great pride in its helping ensure that the school works like clockwork. Be it counselling students with behavioural issues, Providing Remedial those who need support in academics, meeting parents with day to day levels and resolving issues and their enquiries, keeping various equipment in order and a host of our responsibilities, they are the ones who are the true heroes.
